Inflation Eases in February

The U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics is reporting that the Consumer Price Index for All Urban Consumers (CPI-U) increased 0.2% in February, 2025.  The all items index was up 2.8% for the 12 months ending in February.  Interestingly, while the index for shelter increased 4.2% over the last year, it was the smallest 12-month increase since December 2021.  Indeed…BLS
