The U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics is reporting that the Consumer Price Index for All Urban Consumers (CPI-U) increased 0.3% in June, 2025. The all items index was up 2.7% for the 12 months ending in June. The shelter index increased 0.2% and was the primary factor in the all items monthly increase. The indexes for used cars & trucks, new vehicles, and airline
fares were among the major indexes that decreased in June.
