Union Minister Piyush Goyal met key Qatari business leaders in Doha, including the Qatari Businessmen Association and Qatar Development Bank CEO Abdulrahman Hesham Al-Sowaidi. Highlighting Qatar’s growing interest in partnerships with Indian companies, Goyal said both nations aim to collaborate not just in India and Qatar, but also in third-country projects. The Qatar Development Bank has expressed readiness to provide financing guarantees for such ventures. Al Balagh-Qatar’s Founder Sherida Saad Jubran Al Kaabi lauded past collaborations with L&T and expressed interest in future opportunities in India.
