Thursday was a day of consolidation for the markets. The markets opened lower and stayed in the negative zone for the entire day. After a negative start, the Nifty went inside the positive zone briefly, and then it slipped into the red. After that, the markets remained in a mild downtrend and stayed largely in a range.
