The U.S. government is reporting that total construction spending in February, 2025 was at a seasonally adjusted annual rate of $2,195.8 billion, up 0.7% from January’s revised number. February’s estimate is 2.9% higher than one year ago. Residential construction came in at a seasonally adjusted annual rate of $928.9 billion in February, which is 1.3% higher than January’s revised estimate.
